Sinnar Town is situated at a distance of 31 km from Nashik It is on Nashik Pune State Highway. Sinnar is headquarter of Taluka of Nasik District and is spread in approx 51.40 Sq. km. Darana River is the main source of water to Sinnar City. The water from Darana River is taken by means of Intake well and connecting main to jack well and over head pump house then by means of VT pumps water is taken at W by MS pipeline. The treated water is then taken in RCC ESR for 4 existing zones of Sinnar town. Sinnar Municipal Council (SMC) objective of appointing independent project management consultancy is to monitor the pelformance of the projects funded by assistance provided under UIDSSMT, through the entire life cycle of the implementation. The scope in general includes over all support to SMC of designs, day to day supewision, quality control, support to SMC during pre construction, actual construction and post construction stage and implementation of the scheme for 24 x 7 water supply basis. M/s D M Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is consultant to SMC for providing project management consultancy sewices for water supply project and help SMC in achieving the objectives of the project.
