Chandrapur City is main industrial city in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra State of India. Presently city is supplied with 51 MLD of water through two sources. The Chandrapur Municipal Corporation (CMC) manages water supply and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal as also municipal solid waste management within the corporation limits having an area of 56.28 Sq. Km. The CMC has plan to conducting Water Audit, Leak Detection & Leak Reduction for its water supply. M/s Dinesh Rathi & Associates (now DRA Consultants Pvt. Ltd.) is consultant to CMC for Implementation of Uninterrupted Water Supply and Reduction in NRW/UMl with Improvement in Service Level Benchmark (SLB) of Water Supply i.e.
