Implementation of 24×7 Water Supply Project for Un-interrupted Water Supply and Reduction of NRW/UFM/ with Improvement in Level of Services to the Consumers for Nagpur City through PPP

Nagpur City is second capital of Maharashtra State centrally located in India. Presently city had population of about 2.5 million supplied with 470 MLD further augmented to 630 MLD of water through different sources. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) manages water supply and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal as also municipal solid waste management within the corporation limits having an area of 217.56 Sq. Km. The NMC has plan to conducting Water Audit, Leak Detection & Leak Reduction for its water supply. DRA Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is consultant to NMC for Implementation of Uninterrupted Water Supply and Reduction in NRW/UFW with Improvement in Service Level Benchmark (SLB) of Water Supply i.e. i) Coverage ii) 100% Metering, iii) LPCD – 150, iv) NRW <20%, v) Water Quality, vi) 24×7 Water Supply, vii) cost Recovery, viii) collect ion efficiency, ix) Redressal to customer complaints, x) Services to Urban Poor to the Consumer for Nagpur city.
